Has anyone had a PCC done in Gujarat within this last month or two????

Is this true or false? My mom's brother & his family was told that PCC can NOT be done untill a "FORM is sent by US petitioner or NVC to beneficiary is submitted when applying for PCC"? (F4 preference Petition)

When my husbhand (CR1 Petition) had his PCC a year ago nothing of this sort was asked......so I'm a little confused!

Sounds like a (not so) subtle message of "start negotiating our bribes".

My husband tried to get it before the "official" letter was sent from NVC for ds230...but he was denied...same with my cousin 2 months ago...so yes, in some places, you will have to have a letter from NVC and only then they will issue you one. (Note: My husband got it w/o the letter from the district police, but passport office asked for the letter)

thanks........yea without the "instruction letter" its not possible to get pcc done in surat area........

What "instruction letter" is required? Can someone post link or scan and make it available.
