Hi, Everyone,

I am new to this forum :-)
I just sent the I-751 to Texas on June 18 and it was delivered on June 23. Did anyone else send theirs in around this time? How long does it usually take them to cash the check in? They haven't cashed mine in yet so I just wanted to see if anyone else was in the same boat as I am.

Thanks!

Hi Shreya,

Welcome to the club! Actually, TSC no longer processes I-751s so they will be transferring your file to VSC - Vermont. For those of us who filed at TSC cheques were generally cashed about 10 days after receipt, and the files were transferred to VSC about 3 weeks after receipt. That may have changed for more recent filers. You can check various time lines for those of us waiting at VSC - including the Texas transfers - at this thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...0056&st=285

Good luck

Thanks so much for the quick reply! Ok, so I can stop stressing now since I am still at only about 4 days from the date of receipt :-)

Hi again,

I know it hasn't been 10 days yet but my check hasn't been cashed by TSC :-( I sent it certified but I didn't select Return Receipt (stupid of me, I know!). I was told by USPS that it was signed for by someone named M. Salcedo. I am hoping it was delivered properly. Any ideas?

TSC will be transferring it to VSC. Just relax. The 10 day period is an approximation. Because you sent it to the wrong center it could take a few extra days.

Whew! That does make me feel better. I wish they'd put the correct mailing address on their form instructions....grrrrrrr! I'm just keeping my fingers crossed and will keep you all updated. Can't wait until this is over!

It only just recently got changed - all of the instruction sheets might not have been correctly updated yet.

That's why they're forwarding the applications.

Settle in for the long haul, this is going to take a long time.
