My daughter's I-130 case has been approved and her petition has been sent to NVC last May 16 and when we called NVC they are saying my daughter's case hasn't reached them yet...I went through the same process and I don't remember it taking so long. After 2 weeks a case number should have been assigned. Is there any update about NVC's delay? Or this is normal? Anyone experiencing the same delay?

Some people have said that their case took about 7 weeks to be transferred. You can also start calling both the NVC and USCIS to find out more. If they start giving you the runaround you can then make an Infopass with your local office to see if they can get you more information.

A lot of people were stuck lately.

DOn't know what's happening with all this delays. It's been almost 1 month and no case number form NVC.

Some says that they do get our case from USCIS but the operator doesn't know until there's a case number assigned.
