I have a few questions about traveling to the United States from Egypt..
1. How much money can he bring with him in american dollars, (cash)?
2. Wich airline is best..He needs to go to NY then to Indianapolis.
3. Where is the best place to get the tickets? Should we book online or go through travel agency there in Egypt?

Younes and I found it to be less expensive to book there in Morroco thru agency... I would ask him to see how much it would cost him booking it there, and then you find out how much it would cost you from here....

i think he can bring about 10,000 bucks and if he will bring more than 10,000 bucks he have to tell them that at the airport.
the best way to get airline ticket is through travel agency (so much cheaper) .
Egyptair is good and i think he will love it (maybe cause they speak Arabic lol) .
i think you can find some good prices through Expedia (the only travel agency you can use in USA if you want to book a ticket from Egypt to usa )Expedia
so you can ask him to go to any travel agency in Egypt and you can check Expedia and compare the price to get the best offer .

he can bring 10,000 usd cash....egyptair is the cheapest/best way to get from cairo to nyc, it's a direct flight and the seats are roomy...i'm not sure about the domestic flight from ny b/c i am from nj. hope that helps. oh, and buy from expedia not a travel agency.

Check on kayak.com or mobissimo.com or sidestep.com..............can buy from all those too..........
Others use a travel agent in Egypt.....
EgyptAir can cause problems if you are leaving on a one way.
