about 5 weeks

Once your case left the NVC and received by USEM, you can start calling them and schedule an interview. You can request for the earliest available date they have. Scheduling interview is a lot faster now. Unlike before, all we can do is wait for 3-4 months for our schedules.

since you are on CR1/IR1, NVC will be the one who will schedule your interview.

YuandDan has given you the CR1/IR1 timelines. you can click on their individual timelines so you can better gauge how long it took for their case to be completed at NVC and then how long it will be from being "case complete" to final USEM interview.

I am under K1 and so far, what I am seeing/reading here is that for CR1/IR1 it will be the NVC who will give the schedule for your interview. Maybe you could try sending PM to those who are going through the same CR1/IR1 route like filiricans and others. They will be able to give you more info.

OUR VISA IS CR1, THE N.V.C. IS THE ONE THAT SCHEDULES THE INTERVIEW.
WE WERE APPROVED JUNE ELEVEN. THE INTERVIEW DATE THAT WE WERE ASSIGNED BY THE N.V.C. IS AUGUST SIX, SIX THIRTY AM.
I WAS VERY SAD THAT WE DID NOT GET A JULY DATE. A LITTLE HAPPY, THAT FOR ONCE, DURING THIS JOURNEY WE HAVE A DATE THAT WE KNOW ANYTHING WILL HAPPEN.

You will need to speak to an operator to learn when the interview date is. It took about a week from case approved until interview date was assigned.

w0w john&jean, thats to fast im going to send the ds230 today. i hope within 5days they will get it. by the way john&jean once ur case been completed at the NVC how long does it takes before they reach usem? and how will you know if your case is already approved? and how long does it takes before they send u a letter regarding the interview? thanks you so much you guyz are awsome
