If CIS would allow it, would you be willing to travel to a different D.O. for an interview or oath ceremony? I recently wrote to the acting director suggesting that they make that a voluntary option. Think about it LA filers (waiters) would you be willing to travel to Las Vegas or San Diego or San Francisco for an interview to move your case forward? We would be willing to go to Maine or Alaska for an interview. In fact if we could get the interview, oath & passport within, say a week, we would gladly go to Guam.

Respectfully,

Ha, that would add an extra step to the process, and adding any step would probably end up adding a year to the processing time. If one field office is quicker, than everyone would apply for that one making it the slowest one.

Hey, we're talking Immigration here; no logic allowed.

Basically, I would have liked to travel to Dallas or Atlanta Field Offices for interview or oath--as I like these cities far more than Baltimore (where I lived and the interview and oath took place).
