FYI, about medical in our case...

Lab expenses (x-ray and blood test) - Rs.800 ($19)
Physician expenses (only MMR was needed, rest all antibodies were there on her blood)
MMR charges - Rs.150 ($4)
Physician Fee - Rs.700 ($17)

Total medical fee - $40. Pretty cheap !

Also, Dr. Vijayalaksmi handed over the medical report to her on the same day, so she's done with medical. It is NOT a sealed envelope and the form is NOT I-693 too. I was confused with that form. When I did my medical in the U.S as part of U.S green card, it was I-693. Anyway, physician has those forms. You need to just print out the medical cover letter as part of Packet 4 forms, that's all!

One photograph is needed at Lab and another one photograph is needed at physician's office, that's all!

Now, it is waiting game and she has another 6 more days for interview! Just waiting at Chennai!

Good luck to all people who are waiting and Congrats to those who have completed this procedure rose.gif

Sgr, I was not seeing your posts and I thought you disappeared star_smile.gif No, my dear friend Srg is still there kicking.gif

I can understand all the frustration from so many guys towards USCIS, this system sucks devil.gif But what to say and to whom to complain ??? What we have to do is only wait patiently (it is easier to be said!) and one day, as a surprise that mail/email will come - approval star_smile.gif Everybody here will have a day like that, some people will have early and the others little late, that's all!

One thing I can say is whatever time lost at USCIS level can be recovered at NVC level due to the new online payment system star_smile.gif Rather than waiting 4 months at NVC in those old days, one can finish in 1 to 1.5 months time star_smile.gif That will save everybody's life at least 2.5 months time star_smile.gif A consolation : yes.gif

So good luck to you Sgr rose.gif and the rest rose.gif

Yes, I am happy since we are almost done and would be retiring from this great site hesitantly yes.gif

mrs. hooks32, no problem, after the blood work by panel of consulate approved physician/lab, they will determine which all vaccinations are needed and will advise to you rose.gif
