Hello all...

I knoe probably someone already ask this questions before but I would like to know the answers again, if possible. It'd be great and very helpful..Thank you very much VJ friends good.gif

My question is:

Is there anything I or my fiance needed to do while we wait for the NoA2? Can my fiance give me his Affidavit of Support already, including all his company letter, bank statements, ITR's, and I-134? I thought I read something that the I-134 cannot be notarized until we received a NoA2 approval. Is that correct, so we have to wait until the NoA2 to be approved then he can notarize the I-134.

Second, can I get all my NBi clearance, Police Clearance, Birth Certificate, and what else do i need to get again? hehe...i'm lost..theres so many requirements that i forget now..Anyway, can I get all those instead of waiting for the Packet 3?

And Last, When should I take the Medical Exam, Is it before 1 week or 1 month before the Interview Appointment.

Hehe..sorry for the many questions, I am just so worried and anxious about all this, I want to be with my Fiance ASAP..huhu...

Thank you so very Much Much My VJ friends...

This is the time to get everything ready and in order. The sheriff's list has it all. And if you run out of things to do you can always do the CFO guidance and counseling early in Manila or Cebu, but you will have to go back to get a sticker after you recieve your visa. Good luck star_smile.gif

Hi,

yeah..you can start gathering to prepare some docs like BC, NBI..(anyway NBI is easy to get at Carriedo Manila..it takes only 3 days)..Police clearance is needed if you stay or work for at least six months to another country ... and I 134 should be notarized and original..its one of the important docs...you can get your early medical as long as you are already approved and case number from the NVC...one month before the interview.

I know what is your feeling rights now...Ive been through that before...but don't be too much worried about that things..instead spend some quality time with your family while still waiting . smile.gif keep on praying

p.s

You will get your approval next month..just guess lang po.

If your BC is late registered like many are in the Philippines. Get backup evidence proving you are who your BC says you are. Baptismal records, school and work records, postak ID. Affidavit from hilot or someone who attended your birth etc.
Get at least 2 or 3 Certified NSO documents that apply to your case. You may need them later when you get to the US. Lot easier and cheaper to do while still in PI.
Get your NBI clearance now in case there are problems. Easy to update it right before the interview.
Do a pre medical exam for TB and HIV. If you are positive for TB it can be cured before your ST. Lukes exam. HIV is another story. May as well find out now than later.

Last thing is keep the communications and records of such on going.
Phone cards save money but are POOR proof of communication as most don't show what numbers were called. Have fiance open a long distance account that gives a monthly bill showing the numbers called. I used AT+T . I'd make a short call almost daily and then twitch to phone cards for the long talks. Asawa makulit!~!

I have nothing to add, but I just want to say Good Luck with the rest of your Journey and I commend you for asking these questions... It is always good to be prepared so it will make it easy on you when it's time for your interview. You will do fine!!! good.gif

Well yeah i guess you should start getting into those "necessary" requirements. In my experienced, I wasn't thinking that it will be that fast just after you got the NOA2 and so we almost postponed my interview date coz we were afraid that papers won't arrived on time. God is great anyway He made everything just fine and finally now here in Delaware and spending time with my baby.

As soon as you have your manila case # PAY the document verification thing and you can check out Sheriffs post with that just so you can avoid delays.

Good Luck!

you can gather the documents like BC, NBI clearance.
save your chats in the message archive, then prin chatlogs before the interview. do screenshots of some chats. save the emails, plane tickets, boarding passes, hotel receipts, pictures!
spend quality time with family when you get NOA2 everything will be fast..and pray! smile.gif

p.s.
read sheriff uling's K1 guideline over and over again. i think, im near to memorizing it hehehe..kidding aside , that guideline helps most of us a looooot! good.gif
