HI guys and girls,

Does anyone know if you receive your paperwork back?
I'm sure I read somewhere that they send it back to you or something?

Apparently the embassy send you a brown envelope that must not be opened that you hand in at poe.

What paperwork are you referring to? AFAIK you get nothing returned...whatever is in the brown envelope is to remained sealed and handed over at the POE. If you make the mistake of opening it, you will need to go back to the consulate and have them reseal it - that's happened on here before. You get nothing back out of that envelope. Whatever paperwork we have regarding my husband's process are the copies we've made from what we've sent.

Once you go through POE you will not get any document back. If you want them to send any documentation back to you, you have to file form G-884.

No, nothing will be returned to you. Make a copy of the entire package (I-129f) and keep the original copy of everything.
