1) What's the difference between ITR and W2s?
2) My fiance requested for ITRs from IRS last April 1, and he kept on calling them every two weeks, and they said they sent it already but we havent received anything yet. The guy from IRS said they can just fax it to my fiance , and that can be honored. Is that true?
3) Where else can he get ITRs and W2s?
4) My fiance told me that worse comes to worst, he will call the book keeper and ask copies of ITR there, but that's a copy of unfiled ITRs (copies of ITRs before it is filed), will that be honored?
5) Is there a payment to be forwarded to IRS for copies of ITRs?

Have him call 1-800 829-1040 24/7 IRS automated system and order tax transcripts. They are free and I got mine in the mail in 7 days.
Have him get the last 3 years.
Tax transcripts are BETTTER [More valid] than ITRs [Individual Tax Return] and W2s

Hi there!
As far as I remember my fiance just fill up the form from internet website for ITR. Income Tax Return 2007. Then those W2's he asked it from his employer's he had before and this recent. 2007,2006,2005. I dont know if theres a fee for it but my fiancee didnt tell me anything that he paid for W2's or ITR. I just submit 2007 ITR and 3 W2's. Usually, the prescreener will only asked you for recent ITR. Hope this helps! Goodluck!
