hey there!!! i been quiet reading all the venting drama's ,frustration ,and waiting stuff on this journey its been helpful in my case since then i got all my information here but lately i checked and noticed that most of the thread here is just a crap it is like gossiping !!! is it???? it seems that some other people need help a lot because this might be the forum is for and seems mostly want to reply to gossips stuff rather than to reply to some people inneed ....try to check guys you will find out the number of people replied to some important stuff than to a gossip stuff !! is it true filipina like gossip very much???

i haven't seen a thread that is gossiping here. people are asking questions and members answers according to experience and what they have read

I beg to disagree! Gossipping is not inherent to filipinas. I think you have misread the topics that have been posted here. I haven't seen topics that you considered as "GOSSIP". The ladies here are not mandatorily posting replies, they do so out of the goodness of their hearts to help those who are confused or helpless about this arduous process. And as for those topics like age differences, whereabouts and jobs before meeting their fiance/fiancees and husbands, that is not considered as gossip! They are just proud of their SO whatever their age differences or jobs may be. People here do not just seek advices or help, they vent their feelings coz who is better to emphatize or symphatize with you if not someone who is going thru or had gone the process of this visa journey.

I am just curious why you asked if filipinas like to gossip very much. AREN'T YOU A FILIPINA???!!!! You know the answer, don't be obtuse!

Im sorry but I didnt even notice it since I only reading factual informations. I didnt notice any gossips or craps here. Since May till now this forum are very helpful to everyone it even helps me. Gossip isnt a traits of Filippina well, come on! Your talking as if your not one of us. This is smart for you to blog all this post! I find friends here and they very helpful to me maybe without them I wont be approved on the spot. Anyways, for your information lady were free what were going to read and where to reply here. filipinas dont gossip very much..what they are doing here posting whatever they wanna say is just a way of making thierselves busy. something to occupy their time and it's a way of getting to know our fellow filipina VJers. we are not gossiping. say for example the Bible verse thread..we are talking about the characters in the Bible..is it gossiping?

i guess theres nothing wrong about his thread, if we will open up our mind we can understand that his not against about gossiping because i was also misinterpret it when my husband was here he told me that seems filipino's love gossip so ofcourse!! i was reacted and depend our people but when he explained it to me i understand that what he meant that filipino love to talk..they just dont understand that sometimes just to "kill the time" we will talk something so we just dont get bored from waiting..but wether we like it or not we really love to talk, but im sure he doesnt want to offend us because seems his married to a filipina.

I guess you KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO BE AWAY FROM YOUR PARTNER, so those "IDLE" talks you were talking about could at least help us divert our mind into LIGHT things rather than to think about SADNESS... Some people thinks positively knowing that there were other people with the same situation as well but were able to cope up..

We came from different parts of the Philippines and this forum could at least help us be in touch with one another apart from other communication things.

i'm quite certain that when i first joined vj, i didn't have a timeline yet i didn't wait more than 30 minutes before posting.
it's the posts by the individual, not their join date or their lack of a timeline, that may indicate a person is a troll. if a troll is suspected, send a pm to one of the mods.

I respect that others might feel it is... back when I was going thru the process, when someone posted in the Manila Interview Embassy Thread who appeared to be a troll, we would just ignore it, and it went away... If you feel it is a troll, do not respond. then this thread will fade into the sunset, disappearing into the back pages of the forum...

To be honest. I am actually getting irritated with the number of threads that some mod is moving from the Philippines subforum. This is after all a community of people with a shared culture and a shared experience. But someone is going through and moving arrival announcements, baby announcements and such that maybe the people in here are interested in keeping up on. But since they are being moved, they are being lost by those who don't visit 5 different segments of the forum. The posters here gladly and joyfully answer all of the serious questions and requests for help that are posted, but also share friendships and a community spirit that is important for those moving so far from where they have always been. Random attacks from faceless non-entities who think that the annonymity of the internet gives them the right to make blanket attacks, and over moderating a discussion group to make it fit into some persons notion of controlled and proper are ways to kill that spirit of traveling together in a dificult journey. It's easy enough to ignore all of the annoyances, but really are they necessary in this life?

I feel sorry for his "wife". Such a poorly written post in English indicates either a lack of education if the OP's primary language is English or that the OP's primary language is NOT English.

I suspect it is the latter case which leads me to believe that the OP is a troll and looking to stir up some sh!t as another poster has previously mentioned.
