Just a quick question

I have just filed I-130 immigrant petitions for my South African husband and 3 children and included the necessary filing fees for each petition. I've looked at the other forms that will be required when they go for their visit to the embassy, but am not too sure whether there are any more fees to paid once they have their interview.

Is there anybody that has recently been through this process in South Africa that can answer me on this.

thank you
Haole

Yes you will have to pay more when your petitions get to NVC. Something like $400 each plus $80 biometric fee. I'm not sure about the exact amount. Could have changed since I did it!

I believe that once the cases are approved and sent to NVC, each petition will have a $70 AOS (Affidavit of Support fee) and a $330(I think) visa fee for each person. Then once the cases are sent to the consulate, there is the $80 biometrics fee and they will each have to have a medical examination. Those can vary depending on what is required.

visa fee is $400 (it is like $355 + $45 security fee) each.
