let me start in manila where we are going to start..., first interview before u check in they are going to give u immigration form and u have to fill up that 1 and after few questions u have to proceed where to check in your luggage 2 bags are allowed 70 lbs free for each bags for NW Airline. Lucky right??? well, it wont be long cause in July they have to reduce them to 50 lbs. plus u are allowed handcarry too. Note : be sure u don't bring any bottle type of stuff, metals and other stuff that customs don't allow u to bring.
Here are the Steps i been through :
1. Pay terminal fee Php 750.00 plus taxes and other fees ( only if u didn't pay it as u purchase your tickets )
2. Immigration - - - Questioning about personal informations and after they checking it they will allow u to undergo security check. ( bottles, metals are not allowed {e.g knives, gun, belt }cream more than 3 oz.) and if u are done that is the time u can proceeed to ur gate number for another security check... then full in line to your plane.
3. when u are having a connecting flight u are to get out from the plane for security check... yes, again. and when ur plane is about to depart that is the time ur allowed to go with ur plane depending on your flight number.
4. POE - mine is in detroit it was done great they are wonderful people there even in japan i can tell. Okay, back in Detroit as i am boarded on the plane steward gave me forms to fill up custom declarations ---- i suggest when u have to declare any amount for ur sutff do less so they won't ask it why u have a lot. And i fill up I-94 too and when we arrived in Detroit i went to visitor line for customs and immigration check. Officer ask u to submit ur brown envelop and the forms u fill-up @ the plane. K3 & CR1 will have to fill white form for I-94 with custom declarations while and K1 will have to fill up green form with customs declarations.
After immigration done checking ur documents don't leave the counter without I-94 cause u will be using it for SSN,EAD and AOS. ( the immigration officer just asked me one question if i am married. and i replied yes i am sir for 1 year and few months.) I was a nice black american i can tell. So people out there who still on theiur process to get in USA just know ur partner well and evrything will be alright cause they don't have reason to deny us if we have completed our documents and the answer those questions they wanted to know about u and ur partner.
Next thing, get your luggage for another security by the TSA check. Then u are ready for ur destination plane again.......
Incase u have some question/s try to send me private mesage. Goodluck everyone.
