the beneficiary passed the interview ???

One thing I heard is, if consulate holds her passport, visa is granted. If they return it, visa is not granted and need additional adminsitrative process.

Can she ask to the consulate officer about visa issue after the interview or will the officer let her know after the interview ???

Is there any other way to know that such as some colored slips (white, pink, blue etc.) ???

Well most of the time they grant you the visa same day but if not they'll say you'll hear from us. In my granny's case they Mumbai Embassy couriered after passport back with Visa packet after 5 days I think. 1 time it was couriered back to ask for some sponsorship information. Rarely they give it to you right away as either way they have to mail you a a visa packet which is not to be opened by beneficiary but only opened by visa officer at the POE.
