My heart goes to all those affected recently by the typhoon. Let's all take time to pray for our country and the world. That's the least we can do, and if we have opportunity and the capability, maybe share what we can specially to those who badly need asap.

My mom said the water has flowed inside our house there in southern philippines. She has to put the newly born puppies on a higher area to prevent them from drowning. there are flood everywhere, even here in MO. I didnt expect to read the news about the sunken ship. I wonder why they have to cross the sea in such a bad weather. My prayer goes out for the families of the tragedy .

I am thinking about them, having visited the Philippines a few times. Wonderful people. But pray for what? Presumably God controls (or can control) the weather. Instead of praying, maybe lobby the government for better ferry service.
