how long does it normally take to recieve the visa from colombia after the interview. my girl has her interview july 1st and i'm looking at plane tickets. thank you.

Did you read through the Embassy reviews? It appears by others timelines that it is delivered after the interview in just a matter of days. Many also stated they were told to have their SO attend a second interview...are you going with her?

yes i am flying to bogota next saturday and her interview is tuesday. she was going to come here later in july after she got her visa but if she can get it in only a matter of days i may just change my ticket and wait till she gets the visa and she can fly back with me.

Well, all I did was look at the timelines of a bunch of folks who went through the same Embassy and it varied from 1 to about 5 days for delivery. Remember VJ is such a small percentage so perhaps an email to the Embassy would give you a better idea.
