I was wondering if anyone could help me understand the following as stated on the Cairo Embassies website: " The U.S. petitioner must provide appropriate evidence that he/she has permission to reside in the consular district. " & " The petitioner must have maintained continuous residency in the consular district a minimum of the preceding six months in order to demonstrate residency."
1. How does one have evidence that they have permission to reside in the consular's district?
2. What type of evidence would one need to demonstrate continuous residency?
I had to make a trip back to the states last month so, my 6 months will have to begin when I returned i'm guessing. I don't have a residence visa yet. Is this the permission they require or what? Thanks for your help concerning these questions.
