Am not sure why your I-130 not approved yet, that is a long time. You might want to write your congress/senetor representitives and have them inquire in to it. Best of luck

USCIS wanted to follow Gregorian calendar, but they ended up another calendar used in Neptune

they are working backwards.
by september they'll be working on May 2007 and buy next may they'll be working on May 2006.
They told me "the dates so backwards sometimes"

I'm in august and still nothing. Told me to wait 3 to 4 more months, THEN call and complain again.

i am a VSC November 2007 filer too. USCIS received my case on Jan .24th. my 6 months would be completed next month. I see that other members are approved in 6 months from the date USCIS receives it. I am still waiting and waiting.
sigh.....have totally given up hope...promised my wife she will be here this summer.... 
dont lose your hope!
