DOS said Ahmed's visa was issued on the 17th but not printed.
So we think it's almost over.
How long does it take now until they mail it through DHL?

Also, he was called last week and asked some questions and told his fingerprints showed he was a criminal.
He had to go back in for more fingerprints and bring money.
Then, when he got to the Embassy, he saw the consular who interviewed him on Feb. 11th and she said they weren't necessary and congratulations!
Anybody ever heard of that before?

What an ordeal!

I will be really excited once he has the visa in hand.

What wonderful news in the end!! CONGRATULATIONS!! to you both, and as far as DHL you can go on the DHL website to track the status of the delivery of his Visa all you need is the tracking number on his DHL reciept that he should have recieved at his interview once he paid for the delivery of his Visa. Wonderful News Lynn....I am praying the next post says visa in hand and it is soon. You have had such an ordeal with all of this waiting. I will be so excited for you when he actually has the visa in hand. I feel like I am waiting with you especially since Ahmed and Ahmed had their interviews on the same day. I really expected they would be entering the US around the same time. My prayers are with you even though I do not visit as often as I did before.
