I am Canadian citizen also sponsored for US green card through my father(will take 6 years more).
My father is American green card holder. I am getting married with US citizen. Marriage will take place in Toronto Ontario Canada.
would anyone please tell me about DCF..
after my marriage in july 2008 my wife is willling to stay with me in Toronto.i know a little about DCF
just wanna ask does she has to be here as PR of canada or some legall visa so that we can go for DCF Option.
or CR-1 is betther then DCF.

Hello there! The DCF process would result in a CR1 visa for you. In order for your wife to be able to apply for you, she would need to be a legal resident of Canada for six months first. And from what I've heard the DCF process in Canada has been annoyingly slow compared to DCF in other countries. If no one can correct that info and if your wife has not already been living in Canada, I would just have her file the I-130 through a USCIS service center ASAP after the marriage.

one think i wanna ask u.My father already sponcered me for US greencard.which will take around 6 years.
so first we need to withdraw that file then apply for CR-1.
should go find some good lawyer who can do all that for us.

You don't need a lawyer for any of it, as long as you are willing to learn the process by studying the guides and form instructions then be detailed enough to follow guides to fill out he forms properly.
I don't see a need to withdraw the existing petition at this time. You might reference it in the cover letter for the new one.
