Having been in the US for over a year now, I am still without my Permanent Resident Card.

I wont bore you with the details but needless to say dealing with USCIS has been a nightmare.

Very frustrated I finally made an INFOPASS appointment with my local office. I explained my problems to an officer who told me; "Honey, never talk to them people on the phone, they don't know nothing and they ain't trained worth a damn!"

Nice.

Anyway...I filed my I-90 today and handed over another $370 for a card they say I've lost but that I've never actually received.

Has anyone filed the I-90 online? How long does it take for a biometrics appointment and a replacement card?

Thanks again everyone.

I sent my I-90 in Dec last year and they claimed they sent my new card in Jan, so it took no more than 6 weeks for them to produce a new card. I never got it though, they sent it to our old mailing address and the corrections weren't made. Lot of good it has done us.

If you did not move or change address at POE or after you entered the country, you were entitled to a new card free of charge as they never issued one. See my posts on the same topic - I got mine 11 months after entry and without paying the fees! The nice INFOPASS lady told me (happens all the time [people not receiving GC, and they pay] to file as lost, stolen, destroyed or mutilated. Yeah righ, not going to say something if it's not true. Included congressman's office and got my card late April.

I have moved since entering the country so they said I had to pay. I don't care about the money, I just want to get the card and move on from it.

Thanks for the posts. It seems like INFOPASS appointments are the way forward...slowly forward but foward!
