My fiancee got her visa yesterday but she didnt bring her xray film from Cagayan De Oro. we planned to tell her sister to send it using LBC. My fiancee talked to someone at the CFO and they said she can get an "attorney letter" and then be able to get a new xray at St.Lukes. We dont have an attorney so she said the guard signed something allowing for this to be done at St. Lukes. This sounds kind of risky to me. The last thing I want is problems with her port of entry. She is really set on doing this. I dont like the idea of a guard signing something giving permission if it is supposed to be an attorney. What do you guys think about this.

I hope not. They told her its needed though but from what ive seen nobody seems to get asked about it. But technically they say its needed.

If technically it was needed then all would be asked for it and the same "message" would be told to K-1 visa holders worldwide....

If you believe it is needed then it is important to quote your source (other than a statement made by a CO officer) as the DOS does not control the borders nor does it determine border entry procedures. I find nothing on the CBP entry procedures indicating an x-ray requirement.

you may be right. Cause it seems its never aske for it at the Port of entry from what ive read. They are telling everyone in the philippines to bring it. I dont know why they dont say the same things worldwide.

I agree it is a common misconception that is coming primarily from the USEM.

I think that info is coming from CFO, A Philippine Govt. Agency, not the US Embassy.
