Maymay has a Globe Roaming Sim (it's all she could get) and I want to Contact her during her trip to the US. How do I dial to her number to make sure she gets it and someone in the philippines doesn't get my call. I think I had that issue when she had her globe sim in the phone. I was getting someone else and neither of them seemed to hear me.

I will be needing to contact her in Tokyo and eventually in Washington when she arrives in the states tomorrow.

Loterly couldnt text me from Japan, her phone with the Globe sim didnt work there, however when she landed in New York she was able to text me from the plane and she was able to recieve my text. I didnt try to call her but I think it would have worked here in the US. Maybe the Japanese cell phone network doesnt work with the Globe sim. Good luck.

you cant contact her in japan. roaming sim wont work there unless she's using a quad band cp. mine is a triband so i didn't get a chance to use it when i was in narita. but dont worry once she landed here in the US you can surely contact her either thru txting or calling.

There is no GSM in Japan, they use predominately 3G service. See this faq.
