Just wondering of any other Dutch people were doing the I 130 in the UK and already got the police certificate from Holland and what you did about it being in Dutch and the US wanting it translated.

problem that i face is that we never see the report it goes straight to the US embassy... don't know how to get it translated now.

but i have emailed the US embassy with this question but would love to hear back from anyone on this....

I was wondering if you don't see the report how do you know what language it is supplied in.

Just about any dealings, not visa related of course, I've had with Dutch authorities the people spoke as good English as I did and the documents were all sent in English.

Is it possible that the report sent to the US Embassy will be in English.

No I don't think it is in English because on the website it says that it is all issued in Dutch. Odd I think.. dealing with International Embassys...

I know the Dutch are capable of speaking English though... I lived there for 6 years but for some reason this is printed in dutch.

Perhaps I am wrong and will hear so from them soon.I hope it will be sorted out on their own and not be a problem.
