i believe that the good things come to those who wait .but my wonder is ....why does it take so long for those good things to arrive?!!!!!and why does the wait have to come with all these obstacles of hard and testing times?
All I have right now are my dreams of my love, so I will close now to dream of us
and wait for that precious tomorrow when I can wake up to my dream come true

Happy Saturday! I'm delirious from being up for 36 hours, only 3 more hours and I can go home and SLEEP! Hope everyone has a great day, I'll be snoozing for most of it.

Do you know how many times a day I ask myself this question? Just when you think you have mastered the biggest mountain and reach the top, you look up and see many more mountains ahead. You know I'm very tired of seeing all these mountains, but in order to get what we want we have to be willing to do what we have never done.

Welllll the overwhelmingly high number of posts! (lol) shows that most are indeed at work or enjoying their saturday. Yes I too am not feeling all that well. Two days ago I had to spend another session giving explanations to my SO about the wait and frankly it has only brought me into a bit of exhaustion.

You know whats funny is we cannot deny we are better off now that before, at least I can say I am. But some of these mountains just get steeper by the day....I used to be afraid of hills, now I wish these mountains were hills so that I could at least know how to tackle them.

It's amazing what prayer can do. Getting it off your chest is a necessary thing. If nothing, it lets you unload your thoughts so hat a fresh batch of thoughts can pass through. And when you are worried and keep it all in, the thoughts all get stale and you begin to suffocate.

Goodmorning everyone! Tenderheart i just want to let you know that i know how you feel believe me i do it was such a long, and hard journey for me, and for my love and there were days were we did was cry because we missed each other so much. I didn't know how long it would take us to get to this point and i never thought it would take over 2 years for everything to be completed! But i can tell you this and that is all of what we had to go through was hard i won't lie about that because it truly was but after he finally recieved his Visa i felt at that moment that all the time that we waited and everything we had to go through was just a memory. I felt the same as you and i promised myself, and him that no matter how long it took i would Never Give Up and always fight for each other until the end and we did. Prayers helped us so much, and keeping myself busy helped alot too but honestly it was worth it and you will get through it i know you will just always remember your love for each other and that everything has to come and will come to an end. In the end you will have your love here with you not for only a few months, or a few years but always . I wish everyone a beautiful, and blessed day and i will keep you all in my prayers that your wait will come to an end soon. Hang in there you will make it i am sure about that!

aj1: thank you, such sweet words, seriously has a calming effect. I know if you say we can do it, we will. I have watched you day to day and saw how you handled it. I am proud of you. I really do hope the end to this wait comes to all of us still waiting.

Thank you Tammy for what you said your such a sweetheart! and Nagi just know that god will take care of his children and we are all his children which means we will all be just fine. I pray for you all everyday and i will continue to do that and i want to see you all remain strong as you all are and just know that you are never alone in this process because in time all the waiting that we all have to go through ends but our true love with our loved ones never end. Im here for you whenever you need it and you will survive this nightmare into a beautiful love story the you will cherish always Stay strong my beautiful sisters! .

aj1: I always knew you had a golden heart. Many tend to forget about others when their problems are solved and that is not something I have to go gathering evidence for. But not you. You continue to give your prayers and asking for help to the Almightly on our behalf. Even if you thought of me and us a single moment, it will do us much much good. It is something money cannot buy. Thank you for helping me and all of us get through this, you are one of the very few people I truly respect.

HAVE GREAT DAY EVERYONE

I'm making homemade vanilla ice cream for my daddy on Daddy's Day tomorrow! I just went to buy everything I need. I guess Daddy & I will share it w/ the rest of the family, too.

I know they never told you, but Im your long lost sister. Can I have some ice cream now?

me thinks I need more than a grenade.

I am for once awake on a saturday. I stayed up all night Thursday night so I can be in form on Friday to take everything I need to DHL. I decided, per WOM's advice, to copy his entire folder of stuff I sent to USCIS and immigration. I copied I think everything except for the rfe and some minor things but the major stuff yeah. It took a while!! And then saved my pictures of us together on a usb drive and took it into Kinkos so they can make pics for me to send to him for the interview. They did not have a machine that made gloss photos at that store but they did it in paper so it looks like a scanned copy. Well, I will bring the usb drive with me to Palestine so I'll give it to my husband so if teh CO wants to look bad enough to see originals, he can put it in his computer. (thank God for usb)
Just that I dont know anyone who uses a "real" camera now. They are all digital cams:) but my husband does not have a computer or anything so I of course have all that stuff, lol
I put in my time at work to take off. My boss though is giving me problems which I am very unhappy with. I have roughly 80 hours of vacation time built up. My boss did not approve it right away and kept asking me why I need to go, why I need to be at the interview, what will I do at the interview and why do I need to stay. I literally had to write out an entire daily itinerary for him in an email! I'm sorry but last I knew, vacation time was ours that we could take and it's none of teh boss's darn business what we do with it. but my boss refuses to hire anyone to cover me or be backup so we're understaffed as it is and my boss does not care because it does not affect him. He can go out and drink his beer after work and go play golf on the weekends. Sure, the OT is great, but that leaves me at a disadvantage when I have a boss that would rather me stay here so he does not have to worry about staffing the place. But yet another girl just came back from surgery and they let her go on vacation a few days after she got back from her leave of 1-2 months or so. But yet I put n 50+ hours for the past yeah while my husband is away but God forbid should I request to take off during a very important time in our life!!!
Ah vent over. Now I dont have to vent about nvc so much anymore (except for their lack of information regarding doctors that he can go to in palestine) but now I just have work drama. ggrrr I hate work drama:/

i know how it feels Nagi and i hope someday i will mastered all the mountains and then i will see the heaven gates open for me and give me all what i want . especially i don't ask for so much .

I am in agreement with you there, Tenderheart! Really, I am a very simple person and I think it would kill me to fail mastering the mountains at this point. All we can do is keep going, rest when we get tired, then get right back up and keep moving.

Sure, Nagi, you can have a big ol' bowl! I'm making basic vanilla cuz that was requested, but my favorite (I'm famous for it around here) is Mint Chip. I think my sis-in-law is making some other sweets.... she's the queen of cakes, pies, and all sweet treats!

Mmmmmm, The good news is, I have plenty of bowls. The bad news is, I think you live too far away from me.

I am a very simple soul as well. I do not ask for much but the very few things I do ask for, I really really with my entire heart want very much and it will kill me too, if I am not able to climb these mountains.

i got off work at 2...got paid til 4...ah the perks of the boss being on vacation, i think i worked 29 of the 40 hours i will get paid this week...lol...im exhausted and am thankful that im off tonite and tomorrow...not quite sure whats on the agenda for fathers day, i guess we will take the day as it comes...its very hard to make plans with a colicky baby...

for everyone who is saddened by seperation, keep your heads up, your time will come, everyones does, and although it doesnt sound like much promise but, honestly, once your SO gets here, it really truly does feel like u were never apart...love will prevail...

Please send your prayers to Iowa during and after the floods here. We are safe and on high ground. We have about 4 more feet of water before the Iowa River crests next Monday or Tuesday. My husband has been watching and hearing about this while he is in Morocco. I wish he were here.
