Full Version: For Vietnam, send the NVC part II of the DS-230 also?

On Jamie's shortcuts, you can generate a DS-230 barcode sheet (my IV Bill fee was accepted today star_smile.gif ).

But the instructions say that some countries require part II, which wouldn't work with that sheet, I guess.

Q: For Vietnam, does the NVC require both Part I and Part II?

Also, can one fill out Part II but left unsigned? Or does Part II get completed during the interview and signed by the spouse? Will the officer allow Part II to be completed before the interview (without the signature, of course)?

Thanks!

Duke, if you want to use James' shortcut, do not follow the instruction where you found it. Instead, go to this: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...s%27s_Shortcuts
For cases with the HCM Consulate, NVC requires both Part 1 and Part 2 of the DS 230, all filled out.Part 1 must be signed; part 2 must be left unsigned. The signing of Part 2 must be done in the witness of the interviewing Consular Officer.
Good luck, Duke.
