I love both of these singers and been a very big fan of Amr for over 10 years; I love, love his voice!!! But in the last couple of years since I met my hubby, I started to listen to Tamer and I find his music so amazing!!

Of course there is tons of other fantastic singers from ME, Fairuz, Elissa, Fadel Shaker, Nawal, Nancy, Cheb Mami to name a few.
Just was curious what you guys thought??

Amro Diab is great and has been but Tamer has got an angelic voice that makes you feel what he's feeling when he's singing. He really gets it across to you. He acts in movies too you might wanna check em out if you're a fan. He's # 1 for men on my List.

I have no idea. But I remember being shown some of the first ones videos. I haven't seen the second one before but I can say he's easy on the eyes.

I wish I could get into Arabic music more. The language barrier is a big problem.

im right there with u jenn. i just cant get into it. to tell u the truth even my husband "the arab" dont even listen to it. he says no one he knows likes it that much either. anyway just cuz were married to arabs doesnt mean we have to enjoy everything arab.

I remember being in Morocco and going to some bars/music clubs. It really was pure torture sometimes for me...like cat scratching. Wadi knows how I feel about it.... There are some songs that I enjoy, but I do think it is an acquired taste.
