hate to be the bearer of bad news, but uscis isn't over yet as that card expires. or he'll go for citizenship and guess who you deal with there

Yeah, sorry to rain on your parade, but as Charles says, unless you go for citizenship you'll never be done with USCIS.

The speed of approval is like the rest of USCIS, a total crap shoot. Since my husband's petition got forwarded to VSC, we are in a LONG waiting line. I think he will be able to apply for citizenship before he ever gets the 10 yr gc. Blah!

2.5 MONTHS from filing, but, we got transferred to CSC from NSC...they just started spitting out approvals the past 2 days...
It might not be 100% over but 10 yrs is a long span not to have to worry about anything and even then it's not nearly as much of a hassle to get it renewed... and no more proving ur marriage is real for USCIS so CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!
