Hey folks,

I've seen a few people mention on here that they have "Canadian satellite".

What is this?

Is there a service provider out there that carries Canadian programming?

Thanks!

I would also be interesting in knowing this yes.gif

Being so close to my dear neighbours to the North, without cable, without a dish of any kind....We have always been able to get a few Canadian channels just on regular TV. I grew up on CBC and prefer it to American television.
I would think a phone call to a dish provider in your area would be able to offer you a package of some kind.

Some purchase a Express Vue satelight from Canada, and bring it with them to the USA! I believe for it to work, you have to pay the monthly cable bill by a cdn address??

Another method that is catching on is SlingBox http://www.slingmedia.com/ you buy the box and attach to a system back in Canada. Of course one requires High speed internet for this to work, then ya can watch CDN tv on ur computer (anywhere in the world, as long as u have an internet connection) and of course you require someone willing to have the slingBox attached to their system!!
