Capt, is there a way that if you put someone on ignore, that the threads they started could be blocked as well? Or if you could just block threads by user?

There is a mod for the Firefox browser called Greasemonkey. It's possible to write a script for greasemonkey which completely removes all tracers of users you select (ie, posts they make, posts they're quoted in and threads they make). Someone would have to write a version for this forum, though.

It's laid back for the most part. There are a couple of people though who make others want to commit murder, kick puppies, or hunt them down and beat them. Enforced "Ignore" just makes people want to read those posts even more. If they were removed entirely, it wouldn't even be a temptation.
