HI EVERYONE, IS THERE ANYONE WHO FILED THEIR K1 PETITION ON MARCH 2008 TO VERMONT SERVICE CENTER, AND IS STILL WAITING FOR THEIR NOA2? I KNOW IT HAS NOT BEEN THAT LONG, BUT I HAVE NOTICED OTHER COUPLES WHO FILED THEIR PETITION ON MARCH OF THIS YEAR AND ALREADY GOT THEIR NOA2. MY PETITION WAS LAST TOUCHED APRIL 7 2008 AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY APPROVAL. SHOULD I CALL THE VERMONT SERVICE CENTER AND ASK FOR AN UPDATE, OR IS IT BETTER TO JUST WAIT. MY NOA1 IS FROM MARCH 18 2008. WELL LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE FILED THEIR K1 VISA ON MARCH TO VERMONT.

IS IT BETTER TO JUST WAIT. The representative is going to tell you to wait the 6 months for the approval. This is all what they say.

I also think you better wait because I'm waiting since December 2007 and so far nothing!

There is a whole bunch of VSC March filers here . About 67% of VJer's approved...30+% still waiting. Those fine folks keep lists and percentages daily.

K3's are taking much longer at VSC than K1's.

Please keep in mind that VSC as a whole has gone through a huge slowdown -- K-1s, K-3s, CR-1/IR-1s, removal of conditions -- you name it -- it's ALL been slow. However, I have seen indications that things are starting to move again, there are some approvals trickling out, so keep on holding onto hope!

I checked the website today, and from the touch of april 7, it became june 18.
