Hello to all newbies and seniors here in VJ..i would just like to ask to those who already got married of what needed requirements did u prepare before u apply for marriage? thank u for all the replies in advance..

Marriage in the US is state dependant so many of the processes will depend on where (state) you will be married in

I guess marriage requirements do differs of which state you live. In the parish of where I belong here in florida, it requires a 24 saturdays of pre-nuptial course and counseling. Since I only had 90 days to get married under K1 visa, we only had to do the civil wedding ceremony for the meantime. They just asked for my passport and SSN to apply for marriage license.

OP, you need to check this info. at your County's Clerk Office. You can google it, it is very easy to find yes.gif
