Well, the time has finally come for me to file for removal of conditions on my greencard, yay! Not very happy about how much they raised the prices, but hey, I'm sure we are all in the same boat there. wink.gif

I am almost done with getting together everything for our packet (going to try and get it out tomorrow or Friday), but I just had a few questions I was wondering if anyone knew the answers to the following questions:

Is everything written from US spouse's POV (e.g. This is a picture of myself (USC) and my wife on vacation), the cover letter, etc.?
Do I need to include a copy or an original of our marriage certificate?
Do I need a copy of my passport?

I think those are the most prominent questions I have right now, I will add more if I think of anything. And maybe a list of evidence, to make sure I haven't missed anything of vital importance from the package. If anyone could help me out with these questions I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

No, this is a petition from the non-USC spouse point of view. I handled labeling pictures like "Cheryl, Jerry, Cheryl's parents" etc etc.
Copy of your marriage certificate is fine.
A copy of your passport is good if you are showing evidence of joint trips. smile.gif

Best wishes smile.gif

Thanks.

Everything is pretty much done now. We are just signing the I-751 form now and this is what we are sending in our package:

• Copies of the green card
• Copy of our Marriage certificate
• Copy of Drivers license and ID cards
• 4 affidavits from U.S. citizen friends
• Partial copy of our 2006 and 2007 joint US tax return
• Copy bank statement, copies over the period of our marriage from our joint bank account
• Rental lease on our apartment
• Utility bills for utilities used by us in our apartment
• Copies of various car insurance notices and a policy showing both our names
• Our AAA cards showing a joint membership.
• Copy of our health insurance cards from various policies, showing a joint policy in each case
• Copy of IRS stimulus notice (addressed to us both}
• Copy of our Zoo joint membership
• Copy of our airline reservations for a vacation to spend Christmas with family in England
• Cards sent by friends and family
• Photos

Looks good? Have I missed anything big? I'm pretty sure we covered everything touched on in the instructions in that lot! laughing.gif

Okay, package went out today. Fingers crossed.
Jenn!
Looks like you've got everything covered to me. Best of luck!
HuffyTheSlayer
I'm hoping so. Next thing to do is track it and make sure it arrived.

About the photos you sent: are they regular pictures, with you and your husband or they are the passport style photos? Do I need to send 2 passport style photos or that was dropped?

Thanks in advance!
Jenn!

No passport photos necessary unless you are applying as overseas military.

They'll take the photo at biometrics.

The photo's were just regular pictures of us and us with family members. As was already mentioned, they'll take pics at biometrics from what I understand.

Yeah, we're really close together. It's a good feeling to finally get it mailed out. smile.gif Where in the UK are you from?
