As my fiance prepares to say goodbye to his family, we would like to know when we can reasonably expect to go back together with our new baby.

What are the necessary steps, papers, and timeframes for Cuban immigrants who want to travel back legally?

Same question as above for travel to Mexico/onward illegal travel from there? I know some permanent resident Cuban-Americans 'tip' the Mexicans not to stamp their passport on re-entry. Does anyone have any comments about this?

Please, anyone with experience or knowledge about this, help me figure this out. I haven't come up with much searching the forums.
