Hi there,

I am trying to get an idea of how long I-601 & I-194 waivers have taken for other members.

I submitted my 4th I-194 waiver request on Dec 17/07 and they are still processing it. Whats the deal?

They respond with the following:
Your application has been received by this office. We are still waiting for the results of the respective record checks. Unfortunately, we cannot predict how long the record check will take. Once all record checks have been completed, we will take action on your application.

because without it I can not travel to the US to see my fiancee.

I've heard of I-194's taking up to a year (usually less) and of I-601's taking up to 13 months. . .go to immigrate2us and look at the spreadsheet.
