Packet 3 was delivered via Fedex. I was able to get somebody on the phone today and she said packet 4 will arrive in about 2 months. Is that true? Is there a way to find out my interview date? What if I want to go pick up packet 4 in person? How do I go about it? Thanks.
I think a lot faster but each embassy is a little different. be happy you don't have China!

As for interview date, you may be able to get this from DOS Visa services within a week or so of P4 being sent. http://travel.state.gov/about/info/info_308.html#visa
Most consulates will not allow you to pick up P4 in person, but you can always try.

I'll have my husband call them. What is the # to call in the U.S.? Will he be able to find out about my interview date?
