Hi, I have a British Passport that I want to get renewed - I have 7 months left on it, my question is (and forgive me if this is stupid!) but do I fill out the form with my married name? and address here in the states? its just the form is prepared for people living in Britian. I assume I would send my marriage certificate in as well, also, can I submit photocopies of birth cert and marriage cert?

If anyone else has gone through this process I would appreciate your help I am planning a trip back to Scotland in Aug/Sep this year

You're married now, so yeah, I'd fill out the application in your married name, and provide a copy of your marriage certificate as proof. Put down your address here in the states as clearly you are living here now.
