Hello VJ members and visitors,

I need your advice, suggestions, and comments to resolve this.. i have filed for my husband, he is in India.. Gujarat and in Ahmedabad.. Trying to get his passport police certificate..

I send the I-130 receipt notice and the approval notice to my husband and also the requesting letter to give to a administrative guy so they can issue him a passport office police clearance certificate. But still they are on their same answer ,"we need appointment letter from the consulate" before we can do anything.. My husband tried to explain them, showed all the documents and also took print outs that says "submit all your original documents to NVC first, than will process further. Also talked to many passport agents.. but all of them at first, ask the same question "do you have appointment letter or call letterfrom the consulate to process your request?? I am from Gujarat state, so our Regional passport is in Ahmedabad.. He applied for his local district police clearance which he will get a weak time.. (which i am worried abt now) since 6 months of time will end in july...so right now i just passport office police clearance.

Is anybody's spouse is having this same issue.. please let me know.. how to resolve this.. any suggestions or any comments.. Days are running out and still no luck in getting that original document..
