Thanks you guys!! I feel so special . We were indeedy without internet service since last week or so. I had left on Friday to drive to jeremy's house (via high speed ferry across lake michigan, fun fun fun). Then we left for Montreal Monday and just got back a little bit ago. Montreal was pretty amazing. We weren't thrilled with La Tour, (no a/c in our room, it was blowing warm air and the bed was hard and pillows lumpy) but we didn't spend much time there anyway so it served its purpose. We set out on foot and investigated the downtown area yesterday. We took a horse/carriage ride, went into Notre Dame & the old Bank of Montreal and had a very nice dinner in a small restaurant off the beaten path. We also went through the mall that is just down the street from La Tour and scoped out where to go for the interview at the consulate. I will write up a full review in the embassy section on VJ probably tomorrow. I'm just too tired right now.

Oh yea, we were approved!!!! The whole experience was awesome. I also have pics of Montreal which I will try to get on here for tomorrow.

Yay congratulations!!!!!

Well, now I feel like a dork ... promising a report with pics and I can't upload them to photobucket with this slow internet. I'm going to have to wait until we get home home in WI to get the pics on here. The good news is we checked the Canada Post site today and it was mailed out yesterday morning so if they live up to their "next day" service we should be getting it today hopefully. If not, then by Monday for sure. Fingers are crossed!!

Moving day is the day after the visa comes . We're all set to go other than that.
