I sent in original I-130 for my wifes application. I have recieved back the NOA (notice of acceptance) about 8 days ago.

I have been reading the guides here on the forums and they say the next step is to file the I-129F

the guide for preparing the I-129 package says to include this: Copy of I-130 Transfer Notice (indicating where your underlying I-130 petition was routed to after it was filed at the appropriate Chicago Lockbox).

I do not seem to have this or is it on the NOA (which was issued to me out of california yet i live in washington and should be nebraska center?)

any advice or help is appreciated

hi there yes you could file for 129F now together with the NOA1 you got (don't forget to retain copy of it) if you wanted to file for K3 which is less complicated and much faster than IR/CR1.... Here click this website:

I believe that Nebraska center does not handle the I-130 or the I-129F forms. There are only two center that handle this type of forms, either California Center or Vermont Center.

If you've really researched and made an informed decision to go the K3 route by sending the I-129F for spouse, file with the California Service center using a copy of your NOA1 as evidence of filing the I-130. Nebraska hasn't done anything with I-130's for at least two years. If your case number begins with WAC, your petition is in CA. If EAC, it's in Vermont. Those are the only two options.

If it's an immigrant visa you want, don't file an I-129F for spouse.
