Just to give an update.... had sent my husband's I 751 package on 5/21/08 to Nebraska Service. Within one week received the NOA. After that, today we received the biometric appointment for next week. I am surprised how quickly this is going.. its not like the USCIS to be on time. :-) The Service Center on the biometric appointment says WSC... not sure what is. Anybody know?
Anyway, I am hoping that the 10 year Green Card will come soon after.... **fingers crossed**
Thought this might cheer others up who are also in the same "uscis waiting" boat. :-)
All the best!

Nebraska is no longer processing I-751s so all of the applications are being transferred to California - WSC "Western Service Center". California is definitely the fastest of the two service centers working on I-751s by a significant amount. It seems to be about a 5 or 6 month wait from time of submission to getting your greencard. Yes, your news makes others who have applied at Nebraska and California happy but saddens those of us waiting for Texas/Vermont which is taking over a year to process the same thing. Regardless, good luck and I hope you have a quick response.
