90 days seems like an excessive delay, but CSC definitely seems to be slow mailing stuff, and the USPS can easily take 7-10 business days to ship something from California to New Hampshire, so I wouldn't be overly concerned yet.

Wow, that does seem a little long, but you neve know. I guess I was extremely lucky that my case made it from CSC to the NVC in like a few days! Let's hope it didn't get lost inbetween!
I think since CSC has been cranking out so many approvals lately, they just ship out a whole pile together, rather then individually. Don't know what you can do except try contacting the USCIS and ask what's going on.

I had the same problem with Nebraska. I started FREAKING ot because it was taking so long.....almost three weeks til they received it! I was calling everyday and they were also telling me 90 days. i can tell you that i really don't thing it will take that long it will be there soon. Hang in there at times i think i handled waiting for the NOA2 better than the NVC!!!!! It will get there and when it does you will be relieved and then things will speed up big time!!!
GOOD LUCK to ya!!

NVC denied having our case as well - and then said they had mailed it to London - about 2 days BEFORE they said they STILL didn't have it so honestly I wouldn't start panicking JUST yet.
I know we weren't the only people this happened to - its frustrating I know.
I have a feeling that the LAST thing that gets done at NVC is updating the computerised records - which is good in a way - if it means they are working on it and too busy to update - but also bad because panic sets in.
I would wait a few more days - try not to stress too much because YOUR stressing won't change a thing, it will just make you feel ill.

it should be there by now.. you're on k1, the system doesn't have information regarding k1s.. you have to talk to an operator regarding your case. Good luck!

Hang in there is all I can say... it is truly a lousy system... our petition was approved in December 2005 but was sent to the NRC instead of the NVC... just keep phoning them - that is all you can do

It used to normally take about 3 weeks to make it to NVC and then it is out again in about a week. You just have to keep calling and speaking to a person to get your new case number. Good Luck.

Maybe the delay in processing has something to do with the petitions that have been recalled for additional processing from the Embassies?

Same here....I've been waiting since Apr 17th. Nothing from NVC yet.
I heard from someone on VJ that computerized records aren't updated so often. I wonder if the computer age has arrived at the visa center yet. However, the letter said it takes between 2-4 weeks. I wonder if it's because of that new act...another masterpiece of genius politicians.

My NOA2 from CSC was 4/17 and NVC emailed me this morning to say they had received it. (I don't think they email everyone, but I had been sending emails every few days asking where it was, so they responded to one finally). I'm sure yours will be there soon too

Ours was approved on 4/13 and NVC hasn't received it yet either....at first they told us 2-4 weeks, but now they are stating it can take up to 90 days for them to receive the case...

hmmm.. 90 days??

i thought that for k1 NVC is only a stop over, the next thing you know they are already at your designated embassy. mine took the normal 2-week-wait though. Hope it would speed up for you!

I would guess that anything to do with a K1 petition, that nothing is happening right now. Keeping them at the Service Centers, NVC not sending them on, and the Consulates returning them to the NVC and then back to the USCIS. They will sit in limbo until the USCIS comes up with the necessary proceedures to implement the law regarding marriage brokers.
I think something should be posted shortly on the USCIS site regarding all of this.

Well, we did not get any notice about anything. Just a letter to our daughter in law in Brazil telling her to show up for fingerprinting in Rio on Tuesday for the K-3. She got the letter on Friday afternoon. Luckily we were able to get her on a plane and she will be there on Tuesday. So we did not receive anything from the NOA 2 with the approval and then next the letter to show up for fingerprints. I am not complaining. We are so glad that they process is moving forward. I just wanted to let others know that no news may not mean anything as in our case.

I am worried about our case because they didn't receive it yet. It is not normal. There has to be a problem about our case. 20 days and we didn't get anything from NVC. What am i going to do? I am losing my strength. I know they are testing us in a way but it is a torture. Maybe I should talk to the lawyer. He may knows what is going on there.
I am waiting. That is all i can do.

Ugh this is an even worse wait. NOA2 May 3rd. Shipped to NVC May 9th. Have called every day for a week and nothing. But this morning's operator was hilarious. she said "You know, it may well be in the building, it just takes so long for processing dept to get them in the computer, half the time they're half way to the embassy before we get the case number logged. I bet it's around here. Call me in a week And if there's nothing by then, I'll go find it k?" Still quoted the 2-4 weeks to get there. Dunno what the 90 days is about

but since Isil got hers 10 days after her shipping notice, maybe I'll check again tomorrow to see if they got it today

well, same me, its now 3 weeks since NOA2, the say they havent received it yet! cant just beleive it! it left CSC on 2. may, so how can it be on the way to them for 3 weeks???? or its there and they dont put it in their system, or its on somebodys desk doing nothing, or it got lost, anything. its realy frustrating. seems nearly everybody with the same date and service center got a case number and it riched. ..

hey Misskiya,
i dont know what is going on. my case is still at NVC i think. they should have sent by now. but i think there is a problem about our case. and i will talk to my fiance to call them again. we know only our case number that is all. when will they ship our case, according to the operator 90 days later or so. can you believe it? it is more than nebraska

it is kind of ironic they are wasting our times. we are just waiting and trying to be patient which is not easy. i dont know what to do actually. i am getting bored about this procedure. we have to wait till the end

))
did you find out something about your case Misskiya? we will call them and we will know what is our case's status. that is all for now.
Good luck to you
