I know that this question has been asked and answered, but I've searched everywhere and can't seem to find it. On the I-485 it asks for the "Place of last entry into the US" and to give the city and state. Then it asks if a US Customs officer inspected you. Well, the answer technically is Edmonton, Alberta for me then, but do I put Seattle, WA where I first technically touched US soil? It's a little confusing! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
You put Seattle, WA. , and yes, because Seattle is where you officially touched down on American soil, and yes, you were inspected by a Customs officer (just not in Seattle).
(Don't worry about being confused, even the officer filling out my I-94 form at the PFI in Calgary messed that part up (she put Calgary instead of Denver where they ask for entry point)
