The service centers CSC and VSC work 24/7 but dont work holidays. Not really sure what you are fileing for but your welcome to hang out in june anyway.

How do you know that the CSC and VSC work 24/7...?? Where did you find this information at?

Yes they do work on weekends as well. I got sunday touches and was surprised. Now if only NVC would work the same way

This may be the case but it just makes it more frustrating for the people who have been waiting forever and no word on their petition. To me, it would be more comforting to know that they observe regular business hours than to know they work 24/7 but still there is such a disproportionate backlog.

BTW, i read the whole document (webpage) and I have a hard time to see if they give approvals on the weekends. I got my case touched on Sunday two weeks in row.

Well your welcome to be here posting. This thread is just june filers ie: sent sent out I-130's. I have seen aprovals happen on the weekend. It just depends on what ever is happening the the service center how complicated your file is and how much the worker had to drink the night before! LOL well I am joking around but it could happen. Good luck with your petition.

How long does it take I-130 approval get to NVC? How do they send it? Do you guys have any ideas how does it work?

Can someone please tell me how i check if i have had any 'touches' please. I filed may 28th for K1 visa, I129F and got my NOA June 3rd. Just looking to find out how i can check up on the progress.

Touched on 8/3 and then nothing...wham bam thank you mam. Didn't even get dinner.

I think they spilled coffee on it and when they paper-toweled it off....it was touched. Seriously, I am waiting so so paitent for an approval. It's not our time yet.

Stuart- once you have your receipt number you can register here: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp to check on your case. You'll have to create an account to get access. Good luck with it.

Now I'm holding my breath, I have a trip planned to see my baby in late December, which seems like an eternity away! Can't we make time go faster!

Yes guys it's look like it's CSC's time to shine. From the history of it it seems that CSC will soon slow down and VSC will pick up once again. It's all a matter of timing. I hope as many of us get through before CSC puts on the brakes and then it will be VSC filers turn for the floodgates to open.

It's such a strange and crazy system. I hope we can all keep our sanity until the whole process is over.

Any movement on the June filers... I know there are quite a few folks getting transfered from VSC to CSC... which is great for them but makes me worried. I'm afraid CSC is going to get bogged down and we just missed the good times!

Any June filers get approved this week? Anyone getting lots and lots of touches?

Has anyone else gotten one from the VSC (I see that people have filed after me and gotten approvals, but not sure what service center they're coming from???)

Does anyone know how to contact the California Service Center? Do we just call the USCIS customer service number (1-800-375-5283) or is there a direct number to them?

I'm pretty sure you have to go through the USCIS number...but it's worth calling them and finding out.

Well unlike usual after coming home after work I did not check the USCIS page first thing but instead started to watch the Olympics opening ceremonies and then during a commercial, I thought well I'll check the USCIS page, and there is was a new date... A.K.A. = A Touch!!!!

I really wish the best for everyone. I hope VSC picks up some steam and gets moving for you and everyone else. They have to get out of their slump at some point and start kicking out approvals.

The RFE's shouldn't be any big deal- when I was filling out the paperwork I questioned the information they asked for- it didn't seem like enough.... should have listened to my gut I guess. Anyway- I just have to send in their bc's, custody information etc. Just hope their case doesn't get too far behind Adrian's. I'm thinking if we just file all the DS230's together then we should be okay.... can't afford interviewing everyone at different times. They live too far from Montreal.....

My heart starts to race when I check for a touch. My heart races as I see everyone get their approvals.

One of these days............I will check and it will be OUR TURN to til then...I wait. I feel it is close now.

Nothing happening here- no touches, nothing, nada, zip, zilch-ok, that's a bit excessive, but you see my point

Nothing of lately here,,,

I was getting excited seeing that I had three touched last week, and was checking the I-130 spreadsheet of other California I-130 fliers and seeing that we were next in line to get our I-130 approved (maybe wishful thinking), but all we got so far was passed up..

So disappointment has started again.. Although we are trying to keep our chins up. "Soon it will happen" we keep telling each other. Still with the frustration in our voices that anyone listening in can hear we talk about other things like news family and the Olympics. Checking how her country is doing and mine too. Asking 'Who are you going to cheer for during this or that event?' when one from each others country is competing against each other.

Still when the call comes to an end, the sadness and reality return and we hope for another touch and the approval will come soon...

I don't think I updates in this thread but the expedites went through and I have my interview in 2 weeks. I'm so excited about it all that time seems to have come to a crawl.

The medical is this thursday and I'm ready to get that done and out of the way.

I want to see some more action in this thread before the end of the month. Just remember to think positive guys...it always works for me
