hi..im just curious how will USEM send my docs to NSO for DV if il pay DV fee a month before my interview? or should i just wait until my interview date and pay DV? i believe that it will be the right time for me to submit my docs to USEM so that they will forward it to NSO?....im confused...any advices???tnx

u have to pay DV in advance so that DELBROS will forward your NSO for further checking. u can call delbros @ 9am to verify if they forwarded ur documents , # is 3392761 loc 104 look for robbie.

note : u call USEM and look for grace or lorraine after robbie confirmed they forwarded your documents for verifications but USEM will just tell you that it is submitted for verification and other that they cannot say anything it is against immigration law and wait until u get done with your interview @ USEM.

You can pay Delbros ahead of time but in my opinion, you should not pay Delbros WAY TOO MUCH ahead of time. For example, if you pay Delbros too much ahead when your papers are not even in the embassy yet, whats the point. Delbros cant do anything with it, and worst they might get confused. The US embassy is not even aware of your case at this point why should Delbros?

I think people should wait until their papers get transferred from NVC to the US Embassy in Manila. Once its in the US Embassy in Manila, thats when I think is the right time to pay Delbros.

If i am still in your place, i think it's better to pay DV 2 weeks or 1 week before interview date.

Please take a look at my two quotes.
This is based with other members list, how some early paid DV and how late delbros made actions of the payment. If Delbros didn't inform USEM of the DV payment, USEM won't send any request letter to delbros to be forwarded to NSO.

No matter how Delbros confirmed that they received our payment, I think the MORE IMPORTANT thing is DELBROS SHOULD INFORM USEM that that person's payment has been made already in order for USEM to process and send the "verification request" to DELBROS that Delbros will forward to NSO.

And we all know that for our documents to be verified at NSO could take a while (2 week to 4 weeks, and in some cases it takes more than that.)

I'm just saying my imagination about all this stuff. LOL

I paid my doc verification a month before my interview. I called Robbie to confirm my payment and called USEM to inform them that I have paid it. During my interview I was informed from the releasing window that my documents were already verified. So, I only got a pink slip.

Tip: Include the receipts of your BC and CENOMAR from NSO. Don't detach it from where it is stapled. When you submit these papers to the pre-screener, it will give them idea that your papers are genuine. I kept the receipts stapled on the papers as I submitted it to the pre-screener (thanks to Primie where I got the said tip) and it was given back to me (the receipts). I do not know if it helped, but you can also try. You'll do great for sure

Paid document verification more than one month before interview. A day after paying, I called up Robbie to inquire if they received my payment and to remind them to relay the info of my payment to USEM... then two weeks after I called up again to inquire about if they sent my verification request to NSO and what date.... during interview, my verification result was already with USEM. I only got the pink slip YET I waited almost 2 weeks for visa, they made me wait a few more days for another reason, NOT document verification related. (and until now i don't know what's in our paper that was sooo hard to review, it took the consul more than a week---but i am not complaining now, just wondering)

I will agree with Noel, just pay it when your papers are surely with USEM not before it reaches USEM, and you can pay even a month before interview (lahat nakasabay ko interview who paid a month before interview had the result already, yong mga nagka white slip was yong kababayad lang), just make sure you make at least one or two follow up, especially after paying.... and best of all, PRAY that there is no problem with your papers and that it will be there on the day of your interview.. sometimes no matter how much preparation we do, there are things which are just way beyond our control.

I see what you are saying BUT what documents get sent to NSO? If it is only NSO Birth Certificate and CENOMAR How does USEM get them and send them for verification BEFORE the interview?

normally k1 and k3.. its the usem who assign interview unlike the cr1 its nvc who give interview date..so in my understanding
not until cr1 docs from NVC has been sent to usem..it its not
advisable to pay the doc verification..but i would highly suggest to pay the dv earlier..because nothing will be left
if you paid ahead..its just that the leadtime for the go
signal of the consulate is the one being awaited by delbros
before they pick up our nso docs to NSO.in my case..i paid on
may 5, the transmittal or go signal was received by delbros from usem last MAy 29, june2- records forwarded to NSO, june 10-interview date, june 27-according to NSo results was already released to USEM..=)..i would suggest just update delbros after paying so they can forward ur docs to NSO asap.=)
