was just curious to anyone who has filed DCF in frankfort if you know if there is indeed a time limit that you have to hold your resident permit before you can legally file there? i have spoken to a woman on this forum who believes there isnt one in frankfort and you can file dcf anytime as long as you have your resident permit paper. I know someone else said they changed the law last year and now all places require you live in the country for at least 6 months but when i go to the frankfort embassy it states nothing there. just says you must show a living permit.
i emailed frankfort and got a reply but the reply was a link to there website! which i had already looked and saw nothing stating you must live in this country 6 months before you file. so i am unclear.. anyone know????
