Two simultaneous attacks have occurred in the suburbs of Bordj El Kiffan, east of Algiers, as of earlier this week, leaving at least one suspected suicide bomber dead and wounding six other people, according to Algerian security sources and eye witness accounts.
And today another 2. Killing at least 13 people. Not good times in Algeria right now! Pray for us all!

I was just reading about it. My prayers will continue.

Seriously peace will never come to any part of the world including Algeria unless the people all come together and demand it. Also in my (humble) opinion if you watch the events in Palestine closely ... you will see a thrend closely tied to Algeria since time of Boumédienne. Everytime something happens in Palestine, soon after something happens in Algeria. People all over seem to miss this connection ... asking what one has to do with the other? Well, I am not an expert so I cannot tell you ... but to me it seems clear ... since Algeria started back with Boumédienne to help out the Palestini cause, the aftermath has only exploded here in Algeria.


Unforunately, these bombing have happened close to the school I started helping out at ... so this puts a damper on my plans!

But enchallah, I am hopeful since Algeria has been the only country to liberate itself from occupation so far! And things do seem to happen here that seem otherwise impossible! I just pray we all correct ourselves, get on the right path ... and seek out our destinies! Instead letting a bunch of terrorists paint it for us!

Only what you can do is stay away from those areas. Stay near villages- im scared to go to Jijel sometimes because it's becomming a little bit more modern where terrorist might think to bomb. Can you believe I was in Algiers in my khalti's house which is near got bombed around 1 year ago!! Near the airport also

Very true ... stay away! But what about those living there? Just saddening after all this ... this evil is lurking around us here!
