I think this could be useful for a lot of people and it was requested of me by some so I figured it's best to put it out there for everyone on VJ!

This is the cover letter that I sent essentially - with all personal info removed.

The way I wrote it, the letter is from the petitioner, who was also the agent in the case ... So if that doesn't apply to you, you'll have to edit it a bit more

Feel free to change things up - anything that you see italicized on the document should be edited and, if not applicable to you, removed.
