hello,
we sent the I-129F package yesterday !! kicking.gif hope that our process will go fast & smooth as for all of you!!

now we have a doubt about an issue

when my husband sent the I-130, he wrote the home address where he used to live and was living at the date of sending the I-130 (17th april).
a couple of weeks later (at the beginning of this month (May)), he moved to an other apartment in an other neighborhood. So, while filing out the I-129F package he provided the "new" apartment address.
now, we fear that this change of address will cause, in a way or an other, a problem somewhere in our visa process sad.gif

our idea is that he'll call the USCIS in Texas (where he sent the I-130, to tell them about his "new" address of living)... i wonder if a simple call will be sufficiant?!! ... should he write a letter to USCIS? or fill a specific form?...etc

do you think that this two addresses may cause us a problem??? unsure.gif
tell us what you think... we appreciate your help & suggestions

Your husband should call USCIS at 1-800-375-5283 and explain the change of address.

You're supposed to let the USCIS know if you move. He needs to let the USCIS that's processing his I-130 know about his new address. Use this link:

http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/howdoi/address.htm

and link to the form AR-11 that he needs to fill out & send in. It's a simple process & if he does it promptly there should be no problems. good.gif

Rebster,

He doesn't need to submit AR-11.

AR-11 form is for non-US citizens only.

In this case, Najia's husband should call USCIS at 1-800-375-5283 and let the USCIS know the new address.

thank you for your suggestions
Rebster, you told me that my husband should fill out the AR-11 to inform for his home address change... but i think this form is filled out only by alien residents... does he still need to fill it out even if he is a US Citizen now?
thanks again

yes, simple_male...that's what i think too.
so, in this case, he'll simply need to call them asap
