Does anyone know how to get rid of the stupid default flags that appear below where it says "Country"? I really want to use my own icon/flag and not the one thats there. The one that's there just isn't right the colours are wrong and the way it's laid out just isn't right.

Ya - what happed to the wavy flag that I used to have for Ireland? Now it's changed to one of those boring diagonal things. I don't like it - can we go back?

I don't like it, it's annoying and very pissed that this was just changed without as much as a message as to why it was changed. What ever happened to having some choices? Personally I hate the flag there using for Ireland, it looks like something the SDLP used 10 years ago on posters!

Flags have just been rotated - for all countries.

I can change them for you but I want to make them static for everyone. The issue is that this flag is used in the Portal System and other places and little wavy animated gifs clutter the page a little. Also the animated flags were very small and hard to see for people who did not already know what the flag looked like. Again though, if you have an ida how to position the flag in the box better (or improve colors) I can redo it for you . Just let me know!

PS I think the Ireland flag may be rotated the wrong way right now. I am fixing that. I also got the official colors for the flag:

What about colors and rotation now for Ireland?

Standard is normally Green next to the pole, White then Orange. All are equal size, I think that's whats wrong is the white looks too big and the orange to me at least looks too yellow. The other two colours are being squeezed out a wee bit? It'd be nice if we could choose a non animated flag? Being able to use the flag of prerepublic Ireland, similar to the Leinster flag would be a nice change or even just importing a small jpeg or something. Just an idea!

Ya, I'm sorry to be such a nitpicker, but I agree that there's too much white. It's the same problem that the Nigerian flag has. It's almost completely white.

No Lenister flag for me thanks!! Me a Connaught girl And I would understand if adding provincial or state flags would be a bit too much for you captain. But just for the record, I preferred the wavy flags. Maybe we need a poll???

I know there are one or two from northern ireland that wanted at the very least to be able to choose the rebublic of irelands flag over the uk one. But the Northern Ireland flag might solve that problem
